As a teen, Sequent discovered that he could convey his sorrows and his victories with the stroke of the pen.  He began writing personal letters to God, which he subsequently converted to songs.  Soon he was performing shows at local churches across his native California. 

Sequent has also shared the stage with artists like FLAME and Da Truth on the "Cross Movement History" tour and at other major Christian music events, but his ultimate goal is to spread the gospel through his own G.P.X. (God’s People Are Extremists) Ministries.

Produced by Spec (Jay-Z, 50 Cent), his debut album Borrowed Time includes the hit single "Christ Walk.”
